World renowned Vet and Dog Trainer Dr Ian Dunbar is coming to New Zealand for seminars in Auckland and Christchurch. He will hold a seminar in Christchurch on 20 and 21 February for pet dog trainers, assistance dog agencies, pet owners and animal control officers.

For the first time in its 15-year history the Ellerslie International Flower Show will have two international feature gardens at this year’s Show.Multi award-winning Japanese designer Koji Ninomiya (pictured) will join English designer Chris Beardshaw in designing international feature gardens for New Zealand’s premier garden show in North Hagley Park from 10 to 14 March.

Visitors to this year’s Ellerslie International Flower Show will be able to watch some of New Zealand’s best landscapers being put through their paces in The Great North and South Landscape Build-off. Organised by Landscaping New Zealand, the North Island and South Island landscaping competition is a garden of two halves, separated by the Cook Strait (a water feature) which showcases the value of design, best trade practices, garden management and good environmental landscaping practice.
