The 2010 Garden Gala at Riccarton House will offer an eclectic mix of activities designed to improve the quality of life of older adults and offer a chance for socialising.The 18 February programme will feature over 20 stalls and a dozen performances, and will also offer recreational and physical activities and information aimed at increasing the social well-being of Christchurch’s ageing population.

The Avice Hill Arts and Craft Fair with its local-made crafts and free have-a-go workshops will be held on Valentine’s Day at the Memorial Avenue park.
Some of Christchurch’s best artisans will be on hand to sell and demonstrate a wide variety of artisan products ranging from wood, glass, metal, clay and fine art.

Zumba, the Latin-inspired dance-fitness craze, will make its appearance at Dancing Under the Stars this year. Zumba will add to the mix of salsa, swing, hip hop and other dance styles during the annual family entertainment.
